Four legged scholars taught me how to better read my dog’s body language and steps to take to reduce her fear and anxiety. Through practice and counter conditioning Dottie’s behavior has improved, we have grown closer, and she continues to pleasantly surprise me each week. We have seen a remarkable improvement in her when visitors come and she is much calmer and no longer jumps on them. We have also seen huge improvements in her reactions to neighbors and the mail person but understand this is a much longer process and we will continue using the tools and techniques we have to improve even more.
