Four Legged Scholars LLC, Dog Training, Ravenna and Surrounding Areas
Every year Roses Rescue and People Care Pet Panty holds an adoption event at the Moose Lodge in Ravenna. Dog Training tips is what I offered at this event, and I had a booth.
I enjoyed talking to many dog owners that lived near Ravenna. I discussed basic obedience commands and how to train dogs to be more calm in stressful environments. Overall it was fun to talk to many people about positive dog training.
I networked and met with quite a few people at the event.
I really enjoyed chatting with Fur-Get Me Not Animal Rescue, Inc. Brenda Catalano puts a ton of love and energy into this rescue. In fact, she is a huge fan of positive dog training. Ravenna and surrounding areas is their target focus which includes Portage and Stark counties.
It was awesome to network with a rescue that thinks hugely of clicker and reward-based dog training.
When I was a child I was in dog 4-H and did a ton of dog training. Ravenna is close to Rootstown where we met with my club.
Because I was into dog 4-H, I was thrilled to meet with Carrie Firth who is part of the Portage County Dog Committee. She is in charge of the 4-H club called Portage County Unleashed. I talked with her for a bit and we kept in touch.
They have some problems with barking dogs and want me to come and speak in March about how they can help these dogs. I am super excited to speak in Rootstown about this dog training topic.
I also met with Pamela Zimmerman. She makes homemade dog treats. She is new to the area and it was fun to find a place to get fresh dog treats. Most of her treats do have gluten as an FYI. You can reach her at Zimmy7022@hotmail.com if you want to purchase some.
Overall it was a great event and I enjoyed sharing dog training. Ravenna is definitely an area that we serve if you need help with your dog.
