Four Legged Scholars LLC – Dog Training – Kent
Are you constantly struggling to get your dog to listen? Do you feel that your dog will never listen to you? Many people feel this way so you are not alone.
We want to help you with you dog training. Kent owners will be happy to know that they can get their dog to listen.
Subconsciously, you have thoughts and emotions that were ingrained into you as a child. You are generally not aware of them.
Overtime, these thoughts and emotions have created certain beliefs. A huge secret is that these beliefs will help you make-it or break-it with your dog training.
Here are some beliefs that have stopped people from being able to get their dog to listen:
I am afraid of failing.
My dog will always be aggressive.
The dog training tools are not working.
My dog isn’t motivated by food.
I don’t want to use to use treats when training my dog.
You are against me and don’t want to help me.
The above are all examples of beliefs from past clients of mine. Many times I have used different subconsious processes to help them move through these limiting beliefs so that they could be successful with their dog training. Kent was definitely a happier place when this happened.
However, there have been times when these clients chose to hang onto their beliefs and wouldn’t release them. Unfortunately, I could not help these people.
How do you overcome these beliefs? Meditation and visualizing training progress help. Questioning your beliefs and realizing that things are generally not black and white.
However, the best way is to get help from a certified coach. I practice Neuro Linguistic Programming and use this on my clients frequently.
I want them to be successful with their dog training. Kent residents are generally receptive to techniques that will create more peace of mind with their dogs. So I welcome you to be opened to get the support you need as well.
Remember you beliefs affect your emotions and actions. This does have an affect on how well your dog listens to you or not. A pretty profound realization that will empower to you to success.
I really like Joe Dispenza. He explains this concept really well in his book You are the Placebo.
