Are you feeling frustrated because you have to leave your dog at home when you shop? Guess what!
There are many stores that may allow you to bring your dog with you. I personally recommended calling the store ahead of time to double check.
I also would recommend that you only bring your dog if he is well-behaved.
If you need help with dog training, Northeast Ohio has many professional options who can help. You can do a google search to find one or check out Four Legged Scholars LLC, Dog Training, Northeast Ohio.
1.) Home Depot and Lowes are classic places. I have absolutely loved taking dogs here. In fact it is also a great place to practice dog training. Northeast Ohio doesn’t have many places where you can acclimate your dog to construction-like noises. Home Depot and Lowes are great for this.
They have dog food, toys and treats. You can allow your dog to have the personal experience of seeing what you are buying for him. Of course, there are many typical pet stores that allow dogs too like Petco and Petsmart.
3.) Would you like to take your dog clothes shopping with you? Nordstrom and Old Navy also allow you to take your dogs. Maybe your dog can help you pick out awesome clothes.
Again, it is important that you practice dog training. Northeast Ohio isn’t going to allow people to continually bring their dogs to these places if they are not well-behaved.
4.) How about reading with your dog? Barnes and Noble and the Strand Bookstore allow dogs too! I would love to curl up with my dog and have a good read. How about you?
5.) For a full list of dog friendly stores check out this website.
I have found that practicing in public places with dog training (northeast ohio) can be very helpful. Of course the dog has to know the basics first so he isn’t kicked out of the store.
