Four Legged Scholars LLC – Dog Training Kent and Surrounding Areas
Are you struggling with finding a healthy dog food that is not expensive? We understand, and we are here to help.
Fortunately, northeast Ohio has many pet stores where you can buy super healthy dog food. However, this can lead to confusion because there are so many choices and many of them run $60-$70 for a 25-35 lbs bag.
A healthy brand of dog food is free of byproducts, food colorings, unnatural additives, unnatural preservatives, and free from unhealthy fillers (wheat, corn and soy).
If you get grain free, the protein level should be 26% or lower. If the protein is 30% or higher stay away from this dog food unless your dog is extremely active.
The dog food should also be free from sugar and other sweeteners.
Check out these awesome healthy dog foods that are dirt cheap!
1.) Kirkland’s Signature Nature’s Domain can be found at Costco which is not near Kent. Dog training clients that live near Hudson will like to know about this. This brand is about $40-$50 for 35 lbs.
2.) Member’s Mark Exceed Dry Dog Food can be found at Sam’s Club northeast of Kent. Dog training clients in the Warren area will benefit from knowing this. This one is dirt cheap about $35 for 30 lbs.
3.) Dr. Gary’s Best Breed is actually manufactured in Ohio. This is an awesome dog food that runs cheaper than most healthy local brands.
You can find it at Centerra (located in Ravenna) and Tree City Feed (located in Kent). Dog training works better when you feed a healthy diet. A 30 lbs bag is about $50-$60.
4.) 4Health is a great brand to buy and runs about $30 for a 35 lbs bag. The chicken seems to be cheapest.
You can get this one at the Tractor Supply Store which is in Ravenna (near Kent). Dog training clients of mine love this brand because it is so reasonably priced.
